Every year at hop harvest time, Town Hall Brewery calls out to Oregon and orders up hops fresh from the bine.  Within hours of being picked they’re packaged and shipped to the brewpub where the very next day they create this fresh brew.  These hops are just over 24 hours old when they hit the kettle and for 2010 they used nearly 20lbs per barrel of Cita hops.  Citrus and tropical fruit flavors with herbal, earthy, and even a light garlic spice note come from these fresh hop cones.  One of my favorite brews they do every year although the hop variety does change from year to year.
