When Surly Darkness, their big kick ass Russian imperial stout, is released each year I find myself at Cafe Twenty-Eight drinking quite a few glasses a couple times a month until it’s gone. The atmosphere and the food are the best and the Surly taps make it even better. The service is great and it’s always nice talking to Linda, the owner and wife of Surly head brewer Todd. If you live in the Twin Cities and haven’t been I should kick your ass. If you visit from out of town you need to drop in.
