Surly Brewing Five is a wonderful 100% brettanomyces fermented dark ale that has been aged in red wine barrels and drinks amazingly since it’s release but will continue to grow and get better with time in the cellar.  I’ve been trying to drink as much as possible (including my 9 pint night recently at $3 a pint) while it’s around town on tap but the bottles are just as tasty although I hope to age some for a while.  I’m looking forward to trying it in a year and seeing how things have changed and then again even further down the road.
