Part of the Sierra Nevada Beer Camp 2011 mixed 12-pack, this double IPA has wonderful citrus notes in both the aroma and flavor. It weighs in at 8.6% ABV and drinks easy. I’d love to see them make this a seasonal or year-round offering in the price range of Bigfoot Barleywine at about $9.99 a sixer and I’d buy it often.

I was really surprised how good a lot of these “Beer Camp” beers were. I am really digging the Weizenbock right now – I would totally buy that year-round.
The Weizenbock is really good stuff. If they put all of them in a seasonal 6 packs I’d buy them from time to time. They had a couple Beer Camp beers here some years back. They had a great single hopped IPA and a really nice DIPA too.
