This bottle of AleSmith Old Numbskull barleywine sat from late 2007 until August 2010 allowing that 11% ABV to mellow out a bit. The age did bring on some oxidation but it was pretty light and didn’t subtract from the drinkability of this craft brew. Can anyone... Read More

AleSmith Wee Heavy is a very nice brew that aged in my cellar from 2007 until around August of 2010. This nicely balanced big Scotch ale had a good amount of time to age so the 10% ABV had mellowed quite a bit allowing it to go down very smoothly with a light smokey... Read More
