Surly Darkness & Fisher Farms Pork In Adobo At Cafe-Twenty Eight

Whats the perfect pairing for a glass of Surly Darkness?  Cafe Twenty-Eight’s fantastic Fisher Farms Pork in Adobo.  Makes my mouth water just looking at that picture.  Slowly simmered naturally raised pork in a 3 chile sauce (guajillo, ancho & puya) served with pico de gallo, black bean & corn salsa, sour cream, queso fresco, rice & La Perla tortillas.  I wish I could have one right now.  And the Darkness too.  I highly recommend if you are ever in the Minneapolis area that you drop into Cafe Twenty-Eight and enjoy lunch, dinner, or Sunday brunch and a glass or two of Surly to go along with it.  Do it soon as they’re sadly closing at the end of the year.
