DDH Bowie’s Space Suit: Vic Secret

Eagle Park Brewing is known for their wonderful hazy IPAs and Bowie’s Space Suit is a great one. This double dry-hopped version turns things up with a big addition of Vic Secret hops to the standard Galaxy and Citra.

It pours a very hazy yellow with a bubbly white head of foam and has an almost milky appearance that you see in many Vic Secret-heavy beers.

Inhale and you’re met with a bit fruity nose. Tons of tropical fruit, with piles of pineapple and passionfruit. A distant hint of pine.

Taking a sip is like tropical sunshine. A rush of fruity flavors, with pineapple and passionfruit standing out most prominently, along with notes of apricot and a hint of citrus. No bitterness in sight, with a soft mouthfeel and a dry, juicy finish.

This brew is everything you look for in a juicy, hazy IPA. Piles of hop character in the aroma and flavor, without any of the bitterness hops were originally included in beers to impart.
