Barrel Theory Right On 6th, Left On 7th

Can of Barrel Theory Right On 6th, Left On 7th laying on a wood table.

Hazy double IPAs thrive when hop selection and balance are dialed in, and collaborations often bring out the best of both breweries involved. Right On 6th, Left On 7th feels like a meeting point between precision and indulgence, leaning fully into expressive hops while staying smooth and approachable. It is the kind of beer that immediately signals you are in for something juicy and unapologetically hazy.

Right On 6th, Left On 7th

Barrel Theory Beer Company Right On 6th, Left On 7th pours a hazy straw yellow with a thick, frothy white head. The foam slowly settles, leaving sticky lace clinging to the walls of the glass.

The aroma is loaded with peach, nectarine, and ripe stone fruit, backed by a sharp citrus edge. There is also a solid dose of dank hop character woven in, adding depth and keeping things from drifting too sweet. This thing is haze for days.

On the palate, citrus and stone fruit flood the tastebuds right away. Sweet white peach leads, followed by mellow nectarine that fills out the mid palate. There is a noticeable bite after each sip that helps reset the mouth, before citrus notes briefly linger on the finish. Despite the very full body, the beer never gives away its 8.0% ABV.

Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right

Right On 6th, Left On 7th is a bold and satisfying hazy double IPA that delivers big hop expression without sacrificing drinkability. The collaboration with Forager Brewery feels seamless, resulting in a beer that is juicy, dank, and dangerously easy to enjoy.
